Philippine Iino Corporation Is a Japanese company engaged in the manufacture of automotive parts. It has been in operation since 1991. Starting with 6 High-speed automatic lathe machines, it produced 8x14 mm dowel pins at a monthly production rate of 4.3 million pcs/month in 1993. It has grown to producing more pins, pipes, tensioner pushrods and feed pipes at a monthly rate of 20 million pcs by 2004.
There are now 50 High-speed Automatic Lathe Machines, 14 Centerless Grinding Machines, 5 Two-Edge Processors, a Cold Sawing Machine, a Barrel Grinding Machine, 5 4.5-tons Press Machines, 8 In-Line Inspection Machines, 6 Length Sorting Machines, 4 Diameter Inspection Machines, a Wastewater Treatment Machine, and the centerpiece of the company, a set of Heat Treatment line which consists of carburizing furnace, alkali washer and tempering furnace. In addition, it has transferred its base of operations from the Mactan Economic Zone I to the Mactan Economic Zone II - Special Economic Zone in June of 2004.
